ESP

What is an ESP??

ESP stands for Education Support Professionals, sometimes referred to as classified employees or classified staff.

The Meridian Education Association welcomes classfied staff as equal partners in our organization.

How do you get involved?

The MEA has many opportunities for ESP members to get involved in the organization. Here are a few:

  1. Serve as the ESP representative on your building or work site’s B Team
  2. Run for the MEA Executive Board as the ESP Vice President
  3. Serve as an MEA delegate to the Idaho Education Association Delegate Assembly in April
  4. Attend the MEA monthly all ESP staff meetings at Idaho Pizza Company. See the events calendar for dates
  5. Contact the ESP task force with ideas, questions and concerns
  6. Help your building hold a fundraiser to benefit the IEA Children’s Fund

And that’s just the start! Contact one of these task force members for even more ideas..
